Support Worker (Part-Time)
Location: Ipswich, UK
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour (weekly pay)
Shift Pattern: 8am - 8pm
Requirements: Full, clean UK driving license
Please Note: We are unable to provide visa sponsorship and cannot hire on a relocation basis. Candidates must already be based in or around Ipswich and able to commute.
The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and dedicated individual to support a young person in Ipswich living with Angelman Syndrome. This individual has a fun-loving personality and enjoys spending time playing games on the floor, making this a truly rewarding and engaging role.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate support in all aspects of daily living.
Assist with personal care, companionship, and light household duties (such as cooking and cleaning).
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Follow individual care plans and guidelines closely.
Plan and participate in leisure activities like outings, watching DVDs, and engaging in the individual’s interests.
Maintain privacy, confidentiality, and effective communication with the individual and team members.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities (preferred).
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting others.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual's evolving needs.
A UK driver’s license is essential.
Willingness to undergo additional training and professional development.
