This role is fantastic for a candidate who has a strong background in managing several social media channels for an organisation. This role will play a vital part in amplifying the charity’s social media presence, driving online engagement, and maximising the impact of organic and paid campaigns.
DEBRA is a UK national medical research charity and patient support organisation for people living with the rare, extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition, epidermolysis bullosa (EB) also known as ‘butterfly skin’.

Role Responsibilities
* Develop and execute social media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, BlueSky and TikTok.
* Create compelling content (text, images, videos) that aligns with the brand and resonates with target audiences.
* Monitor and analyse social media performance, track and report on key metrics (reach, engagement, conversions), and through regular reports.
* Develop and execute effective paid social media campaigns across platforms like Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads and Sales Navigator.
* Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a strong online community.
* Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.
* Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics (clicks, conversions, cost-per-click), and generate regular reports.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in social media marketing and paid advertising (minimum 2 years).
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.
* Experience with Sprout Social or similar tools like Hootsuite, or Buffer.
* Experience with executing Paid Campaigns (LinkedIn and Facebook).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Highly organised and able to excel under pressure often working to tight deadlines.
