We are working with a company that provides professional Quantity Surveying services to a range of clients across several sectors of the industry: including commercial, educational, leisure and residential. In their many years of surveying, they have gained a particular specialism in developing bespoke housing for private clients. Due to continued success and the appointment of several new commissions, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will combine working in our modern office, with site visits as necessary. Job Responsibilities for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor Support existing staff in servicing key clients Prepare sub-contractor packages Sub-contractor management Prepare valuations and applications for payment Updating internal cost information used for benchmarking new projects Tendering Measurement Requirements to become an Assistant Quantity Surveyor here BSc in Quantity Surveying or close to completing - minimum 2:1 class A motivated individual, who is confident, has a willingness to learn, works well under pressure and has the ability to meet challenging or stringent deadlines Some level of experience within a Quantity Surveying environment Proficiency in communication, reporting, numeracy, IT and Microsoft Office Full driving licence and access to own vehicle Benefits for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor Salary - negotiable 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Pension scheme Bonus structure Cycle to work scheme If you feel you fit the above requirements for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor role, then please apply.
