About thedepartment:
The Technical Salesdepartment is responsible for managing technical communicationswith customers ensuring internal alignment to meet customerrequirements (including delivery quality and service) andmaintaining strong longterm customerrelationships.
Technical Sales Engineer is anessential link between Sales Customer and Project Management duringphase from order and delivery. At BYD Technical Sales consists of ateam in Shenzhen and in Europe. The Technical Sales Engineers workdirectly with clients and coordinates with Technical Sales andProject Management departments to ensure customer requirements andproject scope is clearly defined and customer is uptodate duringproduction and delivery phase.
Mainresponsibilities:
* Serve as the primarytechnical contact for UK customers gathering and analyzing theirspecific requirements for electric busprojects.
* Manage the delivery of electric busprojects ensuring that customer expectations are met in terms ofquality timelines and performance.
* Providetechnical guidance and support throughout the project lifecyclefrom presales to postsales.
* Follow up oncustomer major complaints related to the EBus departments productsor services.
* Coordinate with internal teams(engineering production service) to resolve issuesefficiently.
* Track and ensure customersatisfaction taking necessary actions to improve the customerexperience.
* Collaborate with the TechnicalSales Manager and the sales team to align on project requirementsand deliverables.
* Conduct technicalpresentations and demonstrations to assist the sales team inclosing deals.
* Assist in the preparation ofproposals quotations and technical documentation forcustomers.
* Oversee the implementation ofcustomer projects ensuring they are completed on time within scopeand budget.
* Communicate project progress risksand challenges to customers andmanagement.
* Coordinate with internaldepartments to ensure smooth execution ofprojects.
Mainrequirements:
* Bachelors degree inElectrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a relatedtechnical field.
* 35 years of experience in aProject Management or similar role with proven successful recordsof managing multiple projects/customers of varying sizes inparallel;
* Experience in crossculturalmanagement client management and conflict management strong senseof responsibility and ownership.
* Strong andeffective written verbal and interpersonal communication skills inEnglish
* Solid knowledge of the automotivepreferably the eBusmarket;
