Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a strong background in first opinion practice, including surgery and ECC caseloads? Are you looking for a work environment that prioritises well-being and mental health? If so, read on.
Our client is a progressive, forward-thinking, premium veterinary group with an outstanding reputation, thanks to their team of 60 Vets, Nurses, Patient Care Assistants (PCAs), Receptionists, and support staff. They operate across three sites, including a main hospital and two practices serving as preventative clinics.
They are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team on a full-time basis. This role offers a supportive work environment with a great team of nurses who are dedicated to Schedule 3 procedures and utilising their full capability. The CCA and admin support team ensure that the vets can focus on their patients, assisting with triaging and dispensing medications in the purpose-built dispensary area.
Their large hospital setting, equipped with excellent facilities, provides an ideal environment to develop your skills and offer comprehensive care to your patients. Their equipment includes a new X-ray machine, a Laparoscopy kit, and a spacious hospital area featuring two theatres, as well as a dedicated dental and X-ray suite. Our client is also proud to hold a silver cat-friendly award, which has been renewed for another year.
Located in a beautiful area with access to outdoor activities (many team members are keen horse-riders), the practice also enjoys the benefits of city living, with a major shopping centre nearby and excellent transport links into London.
Joining this practice is truly like becoming part of a family. They celebrate and embrace diversity, fostering a culture that encourages everyone to be their authentic selves. The team is friendly, supportive, and driven, with a focus on a no-blame culture and a genuine commitment to each other's well-being.
