Would you like to work in a team who make a real difference to the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities?
We have an exciting opportunity available at Tyne Coast College, working primarily at South Tyneside College. As a SEND Advisor, you will contribute to the experience of SEND learners at college – helping to prepare them for adulthood, promote their independence and access appropriate learning support.
We have looked at current gaps in our team and recognised the need for someone to focus intensively on transition to and from of college. You will be a resilient and organised person who enjoys working closely with external stakeholders.
In this job, there is an expectation to travel to local specialist, independent and mainstream schools to promote the SEND support service in college. You will help learners access everything they need for a seamless transition. AND we promise that no 2 days will never be the same!
You will work in an established and experienced team, with lots of mentorship and support to help you find your feet!
