Azure Cloud Engineer
Up to £600 p/day Umbrella – DoE
Remote – Will need to go to their office in Cardiff once a month
Join a dynamic public sector organisation based in Wales as they embark on an exciting journey to stabilise and optimise their latest Azure technologies. Working within a cloud transformation programme, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the infrastructure is sustainably maintained, managed, and developed in line with organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain, manage, and develop Azure infrastructure sustainably and in line with company standards.
* Deliver infrastructure-based projects and ensure alignment with project timelines.
* Collaborate with Project Managers and Architects to implement IT services effectively.
* Innovate disaster recovery processes and modernise Azure technologies.
* Undertake preventative measures to ensure infrastructure security and reliability.
* Automate processes using tools such as ARM templates and Bicep.
* Provide solutions using IaaS and other relevant Azure technologies.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience with Azure technologies, including ARM templates, automation, IaaS, and Bicep.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver infrastructure-based projects to tight deadlines.
* Expertise in implementing and managing infrastructure security measures.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience in proactive problem-solving and implementing preventative measures.
