The position holder will be responsible for the detailed inspection of aircraft components using the company SAP system to record condition of component and create a cost effective repair route sheet as appropriate I.A.W OEM CMM's and SOPM's.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Undertake and complete a detailed inspection of all components (with exception of components which require a quarantine process due to incident / accident.) using latest criteria and Inspection equipment.
* Creation and modification of component overhaul / Repair routes within SAP as required.
* Work to Production priority lists - ASPEN, Milestone dates as provided by Production Control.
* Ensuring that all information (I.E. P/N, S/N and Condition) is recorded in the shop Repair Order and on LTLGS SAP system.
* Experience within an Aerospace Engineering or equivalent environment.
Qualification
* Aerospace apprenticeship would be desirable.
* Qualification in an engineering subject would be desirable.
