We are searching for a new Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive service in all areas of the Lodge, liaising with the Home Manager & external contractors as required.
In this role you will be:
* Responsible for managing and controlling the maintenance budget for the home
* Communicating and interacting with staff & residents, making sure the home is in excellent condition at all times
* Carrying out repairs and maintenance tasks
* Responsible for understanding and meeting statutory legal requirements
* Carrying out regular safety checks (including fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting and water)
* Respectful of residents at all times, especially their right to privacy, dignity and choice and incorporating their needs and requirements into your work routine to ensure their home is a pleasant place to live

Experience
