Position: Label Designer / Instruction for Use (IFU) Coordinator

Position Overview: The Label Designer / IFU Coordinator is responsible for the design, development, and coordination of product labeling and Instructions for Use (IFU) materials. This role involves close collaboration with project teams to ensure that labeling requirements are met and maintained in compliance with regulatory standards. The position includes tasks such as label creation, proofreading, template development, and handling the translation and design of IFUs, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Labeling Coordination: Work closely with project leads to ensure all labeling requirements (including design, content, and regulatory compliance) are identified and addressed.
* Label Management: Develop, maintain, and lead accurate label records and templates.
* IFU Coordination: Coordinate the end-to-end process of IFU creation, including translation, graphic design, layout, and final printing.
* Timeline & Budget Management: Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budgetary constraints.
* Proofreading & Quality Control: Proofread and review labels and IFUs to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure labeling meets all relevant procedural, regulatory, and business requirements, including packaging guidelines and industry standards.
* Process Improvement: Identify and propose improvements to labeling processes to enhance quality, service, and cost-efficiency.
* Partner Communication: Communicate potential business issues or opportunities to management in a timely and effective manner.
* Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
* Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and business needs.
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
* Minimum of six (6) years of administrative experience, with a focus on regulated industries.
* Experience in the medical device or healthcare field preferred.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with limited supervision.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and work collaboratively across teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred:
* Graphic design experience is a plus.
