Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering expert psychological support to young people across our residential and educational settings. This includes conducting assessments, providing therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for those in our care. Responsibilities: To provide highly specialist psychological assessments, formulations, interventions and evaluation of the psychological needs of highly complex young people, utilising advanced theoretical and practical knowledge To provide highly specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals and multi- agency staff groups contributing directly to the young person’s formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan To work with the Integrated Service team members in developing individually tailored and appropriate overall plans (including aspects of care and education) and ensuring that the psychological needs of the young people are identified, addressed and monitored appropriately To be responsible for undertaking appropriate elements of Risk Assessment and/or contribute to the Integrated Service/multi-agency decision making process To engage in appropriate and relevant research, audit and evaluation to support service development You should be able to demonstrate or possess: Hold a Degree in Psychology Experience of supporting children and young people with behavioural difficulties either in an education or care/ residential setting Experience working in a specialised therapeutic residential care/education setting with looked after young people At least 2 years’ post-doctoral experience of specialist psychology assessment and treatment of looked after young people The ability to deliver high quality training, staff team consultancy, therapeutic interventions and assessment Benefits Free access to 5 caravans throughout the UK for a personal holiday Funded DBS checks Refer a friend scheme – refer a friend to come join the New Reflexions team and earn a £500 bonus per referral or £1,000 for a qualified referral.
