In this role, you will work closely with primary-aged children (5-12 years) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing the tailored support they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and group support within the classroom, adapting to the individual needs of students with ASD. Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a supportive and effective learning environment. Utilise specific strategies to engage and motivate students, helping them achieve their educational goals. Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Manage any behavioural or emotional issues with sensitivity and professionalism. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience working with children with ASD or similar special educational needs. Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special needs and the strategies to address them. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
