All staff play a central role in creating a warm and supportive environment where residents’ and families’ rights are promoted, ensuring they are active participants in care decisions. Over my 20 years in Older Peoples Services, I have been supported to progress from Care Assistant, through other roles to now be Assistant Director with line management responsibility for a number of homes.
