Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer Oxfordshire, United Kingdom (On-site)

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer will work with Traffic Signal specialists in Oxfordshire. Due to growth, we are expanding our Traffic team in this area.
What you’ll do:
Work closely with experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and test Traffic Signals, Lights, and related electrical equipment in Oxfordshire.
Training involves on-the-job learning aimed at achieving an NVQ in Electrical Installations and sector-specific certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Who you are:
Interested in electrical troubleshooting, repairs, testing, and maintenance. Some exposure to electrical work—such as outdoor lighting, CCTV, controllers, detection systems, telecommunications, or radio equipment—is preferred, or relevant college coursework/diploma.
Key Requirements:
* Motivated and eager to learn through on-the-job and online training
* Experience or qualification in electrical testing, maintenance, installation, or related coursework
* Problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to resolve faults
* Full UK Driving Licence and residence in Oxfordshire
* Willingness to undertake Drugs & Alcohol testing for compliance
