Coxlease and Clay Hill School are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join their maintenance team. We are looking for a passionate handyperson and an enthusiastic DIYer, who will carry out reactive day-to-day maintenance issues within the site and their grounds. You will also assist in supporting our other homes in the community, liaising with contractors when on site and ad-hoc requests from management as and when necessary. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Completing weekly, monthly, quarterly local maintenance compliance checks including fire alarms, legionella water checks, emergency lighting checks etc To ensure that the maintenance and repairs of the school buildings and environment are effectively undertaken. Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues (and then actions as agreed) to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations. Assist the rest of the team with local maintenance tasks where necessary and provide support to the schools and homes within the local cluster Coxlease School is an independent specialist day school, located near Lyndhurst, Hampshire - a beautiful setting in the heart of the New Forest.
