The post is that of a Staff Nurse and the post holder will be expected to undertake duties within Care of the Elderly patients within Princess of Wales Hospital. The Ward has temporarily moved to Fernhill Ward in Ysbyty George Thomas Hospital in Treorchy.
Fernhill Ward is currently a 29 bedded care of the elderly ward caring for clinically optimised patients and supporting discharge planning.
The post holder will carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care for the benefit of the patient/client in accordance with agreed protocols.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed, and meet Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) requirements, as well as NMC Standards and Codes of Practice.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
