Senior Staff Nurse (Emmer Green Ward) - Internal Only
We are looking for a dynamic team player who is committed to both driving excellence in clinical care and outcomes and passionate about creating a strong team ethos and environment for peer development. The successful applicant would need relevant experience in T& O / acute medicine and have excellent levels of communication and interpersonal skills. The senior management team would welcome applications from individuals who feel they can meet the demands of this specialist area and bring a dynamic approach to providing care to this cohort of patients who have complex conditions and care needs.
Main duties of the job
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 nurse to join the senior team as a senior staff nurse on the Trust's hip fracture unit - Emmer Green ward. Opened 9 years ago, the 24 bedded unit provides care to patients who have undergone significant trauma and surgery and the team require specialist knowledge and skills in order to optimise patient's outcome and recovery. The team are very proud to have been recognised as winners of the 'HSJ Value in Health Care' awards in 2016, in the trauma and orthopaedics category for their work in transforming the hip fracture care in the hospital.
