Job summary With significant funding investment into Ophthalmology services, King's College Hospital NHS Trust are transforming our ophthalmology services. As part of this, we are looking for a dedicated, motivated and enthusiastic Optometrist who wants to further develop their skills in an extended role capacity, to join our friendly multi-disciplinary team. Training and support will be provided to develop roles, which may include a wide range of extended scope, such as eye casualty, medical retina, and glaucoma, cornea as well as core Optometry clinics. Previous hospital experience and independent prescribing is desirable. Competency based training will be provided with funding for independent prescribing. Banding will be dependent on experience and successful completion of competencies. There may be some cross- site working across Kings college Hospital NHS Trust Ophthalmic locations.
