Accounts Manager required for this highly regarded CA firm based in the central belt. The team provide high quality advice and assistance in every aspect of their clients’ financial and accounting needs, with a strong focus on exceptional client care. This has resulted in a strong, varied and loyal client portfolio that has grown significantly due to client referral.
As a result, this friendly team are looking to add an additional Accounts Manager to their team with client portfolio management responsibilities. Client sectors include leisure, hospitality, technology, professional services, agricultural and retail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing your own varied and interesting client portfolio, engaging as the key point of contact and responding to client queries
2. Reviewing and submitting accounts as prepared by junior members of the team
3. VAT, Personal tax and corporation tax compliance
4. Managing WIP, fees, deadlines and budgets
5. Building and nurturing strong client relationships, attending occasional client meetings
6. Working effectively in a team, providing coaching, mentoring and training to junior team members
Key Skills and Experience:
7. Qualified ACCA/CA (or equivalent) with experience within an accountancy practice
8. Minimum 2-3 years' post-qualification experience
9. Familiarity with general accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, IRIS, etc)
10. Ability to work on own initiative
11. Excellent time management and problem solving skills
12. Positive and proactive approach to work
Salary from £38,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits. This role would suit a qualified accountant looking for a supportive and friendly working environment outside of the city centres.
