Job Description
* To consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
* To oversee the smooth operation of the hotel and be the key contact for any guest issues or hotel emergencies.
* To handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the appropriate leaders.
* To assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
* To take responsibilities to make necessary decisions in absence of General Manager / Hotel Manager / Excom leaders.
* To walk through the hotel including outlets and banquet ensuring smooth operation and supporting if necessary.
* To follow department policies, procedures, and service standards.
* To follow all safety policies.
* Shift work required.
* Cash handling.
* Oversee front office and guest services during shift.
* Room allocation for arrivals of the next day.
* Liaise with Guest Experience Manager to ensure VIP guest's needs are met.
* Identify sales leads to be followed up by the sales department.
* Constantly monitor team members' appearance, attitude, and degree of professionalism.
* Motivate and provide a work environment that brings out the best in team members.
* Maintain complete knowledge of hotel services / features.
* Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety / emergency procedures.
Qualifications
* Previous leadership experience required.
* Previous PMS experience required.
* Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications an asset.
* University / College degree in a related discipline an asset or equivalent experience.
* Report writing.
* Medium to high level Japanese language.
