WHAT TO EXPECT
The MP&L Data Integrity department plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and alignment of inventory across Solihull by managing the reconciliation processes and overseeing a team of counters to maintain data accuracy. The role also encompasses overseeing the integration of engineering changes for both current and new vehicle models, providing analytical insights to support decision-making, and driving improvements across supply chain processes.
The role involves analysing data to ensure inventory accuracy, managing engineering change activities, and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless part introduction and inventory alignment. You will lead a team responsible for conducting perpetual inventory counts and ensuring alignment with system data, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining the overall integrity of the system.
You will also be responsible for developing and reporting on key supply chain metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve overall efficiency and accuracy. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to manage both data and a team effectively.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
• Supervising a team of PI Analysts and Counters
• Verifying counts vs CMMS, booking transactions accordingly and within cycle count time frame requirements.
• Creating and maintaining KPI Data for the department.
• Ensuring weekly sign off of stock loss with Finance and MP&L Managers.
• Ensuring FM guidelines are followed on over tolerance adjustments.
• Reducing stock loss/pilferable stock loss YOY.
• Driving CMMS plant metrics with other departments to be controlled and in tolerance.
• Working with other MP&L departments and 3PL to drive stock accuracy and BCBA requirements.
• Managing Bailment stock accuracy with Leadec and through CMMS.
• Supporting MP&L projects for improvements and change.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• Understanding of inventory practices.
• Proficiency in all relevant business systems (CMMS).
• Strong communication skills at all levels, both verbally and in writing, establishing good working relationships.
• A customer-focused approach, good organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.
