Chartered Valuation Surveyor
Work Location: Gloucester
Salary - £41,800- £50,200 (+ £750 Car Allowance) per annum - depending on skills and experience
Contract type - Permanent
Working hours - Full Time (37 hours per week)

About the role
The Chartered Valuation Surveyor will contribute to the delivery of the disposal programme, by visiting properties and land and providing valuations. To advise on the market and assist in achieving the best value for sales.
Main duties for this role will include:
* To prepare properties identified for disposal to be ready for sale by conducting visits and providing valuations and valuation reports.
* Make detailed inquiries into the local property market, researching and analysing comparable transactions, utilising valuation methodologies to arrive at an opinion of valuation, and ultimately preparing a valuation report for the client in accordance with Red Book valuation guidance.
* To provide desktop valuations on prospective sales and valuation advise on a wide range of property types.
* To liaise with the Disposal Team, Auction Houses, Estate Agents and Land Agents to facilitate the sale of properties and land.
* Co-ordinating preparation of property particulars and arranging photos, floorplans and collateral.
* Provide advice on the best way of sale for land and properties
* To respond to any vendor queries, by telephone, writing or in person, maintaining accurate records of all communication taking place.

About you
MRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer status is essential.
You will have experience gained post qualification in either a public or private sector valuation and property related sector.
For this role you will require relevant property related statutes and professional standards including Landlord and Tenant Acts / Law of Property Acts / Town and Country Planning acts / RICS and International valuation standards.
Knowledge of the property market and previous experience in sale of property and land transactions is desirable for this role.
Good working knowledge and experience of using of Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint. This will also include excellent written and oral communication skills.
Driving licence and use of a car is essential.
You will be prepared to meet clients and external contacts in site across the Group`s operating area.
