Job Title: Police Community Support Officer
Salary: £33,348 (including £2,841 location allowance)
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real-world impact and reduce crime in local communities. As a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), you will work with local people, support officers, and build vital relationships that make a difference in residents' lives.
Your Responsibilities
1. Assist and support police officers
2. Gather intelligence
Depending on your role, you could be trained in various areas, including providing support at ceremonial events, responding to major incidents, making house-to-house enquiries, and issuing fixed penalty notices.
Requirements
* Comfortable speaking to members of the public
* A keen learner motivated to complete initial and further training programs
* Understanding of community engagement and a desire to see others safe and well
* Comfortable spending time on your feet
* GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English
