Job Summary The Analytics Tech Lead will drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions, using data to generate insights that enhance healthcare outcomes and support business objectives. Using expertise in data analysis, analytics as code, and data visualisation to create impactful solutions. Collaboration is key in this role, working closely with teams across the organisation—including clinical, commercial, finance, and operations—to ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Responsibilities and Duties Lead the development and implementation of our analytics architecture and analytics solutions to support business objectives. Utilise analytics as code to automate data processing and analysis workflows. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions. Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices in data governance and management. Mentor and guide junior analysts to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in analytics and data visualization tools. Prioritize workload with consideration to issues arising and responding to shifting priorities appropriately. Attend online training as relevant to the post including mandatory training courses i.e. Information Governance, safeguarding, Health and Safety courses etc. Person Specification Essential Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in analytics as code, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Strong expertise in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and visualization techniques. Highly experienced/skilled in SQ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically. Experience in managing, coaching, training and developing less experienced colleagues Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills. Desirable Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Experience deploying analytical workloads on AWS, including expertise using services like Glue & Athena Experience in the healthcare industry.
