At Klaviyo, the Sales team prides themselves on being marketing and product experts. As a Solution Architect for Entrepreneur & SMB Sales, you will be responsible for facilitating long-term, deep relationships with prospects to help drive our market-leading position in the owned marketing space.
As Solution Architects, we work directly with our customers to build technical champions and help envision how Klaviyo could be used and integrated within our customers' tech stacks. We dive deep, take a consultant-first mindset, and develop solutions that ensure long-term success for our customers. We use these engagements as an opportunity to learn, prototype, and ship meaningful improvements to the Klaviyo experience.
A few things our team has recently built as part of our engagements include: new productized integrations; ETL approaches using our APIs; test/demo environments that continuously update with real-time data; and a custom Chrome extension. We look for problem-solvers and builders. We believe simple things should be easy and hard things should be possible.

How You’ll Make a Difference:
1. Play a critical role in working with our Entrepreneur and SMB sales team to hit Klaviyo’s revenue targets.
2. Become a complete expert in the Klaviyo experience, understanding the data pipelines and code base of our integrations, as well as the technical trade-offs between different implementations.
3. Be the go-to internal technical resource, educating team members and prospects/customers to provide a consistently positive Klaviyo experience.
4. Develop and maintain personal relationships during engagements across many different prospects simultaneously.
5. Act with urgency and precision to provide best-in-class support in troubleshooting issues as they arise.
6. Effectively balance a range of core functions to help increase the output and efficiency of Klaviyo.
7. Be a voice of our emerging customer needs while working closely with our Developer Experience team and Product teams.
8. Solve problems manually as needed and automate future solutions, collaborating with Product and Engineering to proactively improve the Klaviyo product over time.
Who You Are:
1. Proven ability to track and learn from the ever-changing technical landscape and incorporate modern, optimized solutions to high-value problems.
2. Impress prospects at any level, from executive to developer, with the capability to persuade technical stakeholders.
3. Make and meet commitments, both internal and external.
4. 1+ years in a role leading technical, project-based teams, ideally within a high growth SaaS company.
5. Embrace failure as an opportunity to improve.
6. 1+ years production experience as a developer with web development languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, Javascript); REST APIs; web app development frameworks (e.g., React, Node, Angular, Vue, etc.); and/or with a general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, PHP, etc.) are great bonuses.
