We’re seeking a Senior Images Researcher to join our team on a fixed-term contract until February 2026. At the National Trust, we care for special places across the UK. Inspiring images, video, and sound are vital to bringing these places to life and driving our marketing success. As part of our Images team, you’ll play a key role in sourcing and distributing impactful, brand-building content for use across internal and external channels. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you’re based at other times. You’ll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. What you'll be doing: You’ll research and deliver content for national marketing, communications, and our magazine and publishing programmes. By interpreting briefs creatively, you’ll source the best imagery, ensuring deadlines are met. You’ll maximise the use of our image library, negotiate discounts for external content, and identify where new content needs to be commissioned. You’ll help raise imaging standards across the organisation, sharing best practices and occasionally leading training workshops. By inspiring and educating internal teams, you’ll highlight the power of imagery to engage, educate, and inspire, helping us communicate more effectively and inclusively.
