Job Specification: Site Manager Location: Nationwide Working Hours: 7:30 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 DOE Project Overview: The role involves managing a new-build project within the defence and security sector, specifically for a prison site. Candidates should have a joinery background, ideally having worked with a joinery subcontractor in a Site Manager capacity. This is a secure project, with further work anticipated primarily in the North West, including Manchester, Cheshire, and Yorkshire areas. Key Responsibilities: Oversee project delivery, including Health & Safety, programme of works, and daily site management. Conduct weekly reports, maintain project records, and ensure compliance with RAMS. Manage quality assurance, temperature and moisture checks, and client-facing communications. Utilize company systems for reporting, project tracking, and communication-IT proficiency is essential as systems are computer-based. Act as the main point of contact on site, representing the company professionally to clients and stakeholders. Required Skills and Experience: Background: Proven experience as a Site Manager within a joinery background. Certifications: CSCS Card, SMSTS, First aid and ideally PASMA. Security Clearance: Candidates do not need existing clearance but must have a clean background, capable of passing DBS checks, as security clearance will be managed during the onboarding process. Additional Skills: Strong client-facing abilities, excellent organization, and a proactive approach. Must be adaptable, hands-on, and able to hit the ground running on high-security projects.
