I am looking for an experienced MEICA Commissioning Engineer to work in the Aberdeen area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

£450 per day outside IR-35

Duties will include:
1. Ensuring that all relevant health and safety documents are correctly recorded
2. Supervising work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with method statements and work instructions from the project manager
3. Recognising that health and safety considerations are central to all tasks and contributing to ensure safe working environments for all
4. Actively supporting the Site Manager to maintain and enforce safety standards as required by statute and in accordance with Safety Policies
5. Understanding of technical MEICA works
6. Control panels and control systems experience
7. Supervising the installation of process packages and field pipework in a water process environment
8. Completion of documentation and equipment checks
9. Preparing the setup of instrumentation and scaling instruments back to the main control system
10. Adherence to all H&S legislation, documentation and procedures
Skills Required:
1. Having a strong background of working within the water industry
2. CSCS qualified for managing safely
3. Must have wastewater experience
4. First Aid 3 day course
5. Valid Full UK Driving License
6. Safe delivery of water projects to time, cost, and quality
7. Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibility
Skills Desirable:
1. Ambitious and dynamic personality
2. Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
3. Someone with a commitment to Right first time
4. Ideally have 5 years water and MEICA experience
