Salary: £13,825.50 to £20,322 per annum (Dependent on experience and qualifications)
(FTE) £27,665 to £40,644 per annum
Coventry College is looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic ESOL Lecturer who can inspire our learners to achieve their full potential. We recognize that our lecturing staff are integral to the success of the College and student achievement.
This role will involve planning and providing high-quality teaching, as well as taking shared responsibility for the administration of a range of courses and levels delivered throughout the provision.
As a Lecturer in ESOL, you should:
1. Hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
2. Hold a qualification in ESOL (or equivalent).
3. Have Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics.
4. Provide evidence of continuing professional development.
You should also be able to demonstrate:
1. Previous experience of teaching ESOL to a variety of ethnic groups.
2. Experience of preparing students for ESOL Skills for Life examinations.
3. A real enthusiasm for teaching, with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.
4. The ability to deliver functional skills within the relevant subject area.
