This analyst position is responsible for preparing accurate consolidated reporting, value-added analysis, consolidated financial planning activities (budgeting and forecasting), and cross-functional improvement initiatives. The role involves working with the Finance teams across the International region and in the US. The ideal candidate must possess a passion for accuracy, an analytical mind, the ability to operate within challenging timelines, and a desire to improve processes.
What you'll be doing
1. Managing requests from the Group requiring data and responses from the International Fleet region.
2. Producing accurate consolidated LOB reporting and insightful analysis for various data sets (e.g., revenue initiatives, KPIs).
3. Preparing monthly reporting packs for review during the International Fleet monthly call.
4. Supporting the Regional FPA team and CFO during the planning process to validate and consolidate International LOB data.
5. Delivering standard and non-standard reports as per business requirements.
6. Working to existing processes, with a focus on identifying and implementing best-in-class financial planning and reporting, and potential efficiencies. Enhancing communication and collaboration across the region.
7. Collaborating with other departments and supporting strategic initiatives and project implementation.
8. Coordinating with FLEETCOR’s global FP&A teams and finance leaders to ensure alignment on financial performance and drivers of results/forecasts.
9. Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end internal and external reporting with clear analysis and insights.
10. Performing other core FP&A duties and ad hoc projects, including finance transformation and cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance; MBA/CPA/CFA is a plus.
* At least 2 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in commercial FP&A within a global publicly traded company.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated rigor.
* Advanced Excel skills, along with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
* Experience with Planful is a plus.
* Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly changing finance environment.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
* Knowledge of FP&A processes, systems, and tools, with an ability to identify best practices for an efficient FP&A organization.
