Service Care Solutions are supporting a reputable non-profit provider in recruiting for a Substance Misuse Trainer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This service has supported service users with addictions for a number of years and prides itself on being innovative and forward-thinking. They work closely with the recovery communities they serve to provide flexible, responsive services that offer the best possible recovery outcomes for all service users.
This service is looking for a dedicated individual with experience training clients, staff, and others about the harms of substance misuse.
The Role of a Trainer
To support the development and delivery of high-quality training, advice, and guidance to internal and external organisations, as well as to support the reduction of the impact of substance misuse in the settings where training is delivered.
Key Roles and Responsibilities for a Trainer
1. To deliver a high-quality, reflective, engaging, and stimulating training provision.
2. To deliver training on a range of levels from Level 1 to Level 3, at Diploma Level, and bespoke courses.
3. Deliver training to internal and external learners face-to-face and virtually.
4. Deliver training using an online training portal.
5. Assist in developing new training programmes and other learning resources.
Essential Requirements for a Trainer
1. Level 3 Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent.
2. Level 3 Education and Training or equivalent (formally PTLLS).
