About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. This is a Bank position that offers flexibility and variety, providing cover as needed for annual leave or sick leave.
Your Responsibilities
* Supervise and support a team of Care Assistants in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents
* Work closely with the Deputy General Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
* Support the clinical team in areas such as medication management, assessments, care plans, and care reviews
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
* Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
* A warm and compassionate approach to care, with a commitment to individualised support
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* An ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances

Salary
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
