The Role
As the Head of Operational Delivery, you will be part of an international company with ambitious goals and significant growth opportunities ahead.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for delivering critical business services such as Facilities Management, Health and Safety, Collaboration, Business Planning, Governance, Business Support and IT projects.
* Oversee all day-to-day tactical activities within the Operational Delivery area to ensure seamless execution and alignment to organisational goals.
* Drive efficiencies and act as an escalation for the team to resolve challenges.
* Role model what it means to be a great People Leader to give our people a great experience whilst they deliver critical activities.
* Ensure key decisions that are being made are modelled to understand the business impacts to enable better informed decision making upfront.
* Lead activities contributing to safe and secure Capability Area operations, including Health, Safety and Environment, Security, Information Assurance and Business Continuity Planning.
* Regularly collaborate with business partners to drive strategic objectives and goals set by the leadership team. Connecting the activities across the programme to deliver the best outcomes in the most efficient way.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home. You will be required to travel to Hawthorn, Corsham and/or Oakhanger, Hampshire on a weekly basis.
Essential Experience of the Head of Operational Delivery
* Experience delivering in a similar senior role within a large business.
* Comfortable challenging existing ways of working to drive efficiencies.
* The ability to inspire others, influence and negotiate at all levels.
* It would be advantageous to have knowledge of engineering projects and the various project delivery lifecycle stages.
Qualifications for the Head of Operational Delivery

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. However, the successful candidate will be able to start on Standard (BPSS) security clearance but will need to apply and achieve Security Check (SC) in parallel.
