Join to apply for the Specialist Pharmacist (Rotational) role at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative pharmacist to work within our existing team of pharmacists and technicians. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate a high standard of patient-focused pharmaceutical care and will rotate around different specialities in the Trust.
You will have excellent communication, IT and team working skills and self-motivation to contribute to the development and delivery of the pharmacy service within the Trust. This role will involve development of rotational band 6 early careers pharmacists, trainee pharmacists and pharmacy undergraduate students.
Your application will be considered if you have completed your postgraduate certificate in clinical pharmacy successfully and are proceeding to diploma level.
Provides specialist pharmaceutical care to clinical specialties on a rotational basis ensuring effective medicines management and compliance with current standards, statute and trust policies.
The post holder will be expected to take part in weekend, bank holiday and emergency duty rota.
CHFT is a digitally advanced hospital trust - we use Cerner Millenium Electronic Patient record which includes electronic prescribing and administration. We have recently installed a pharmacy dispensing robot at our Calderdale site and are a trailblazing site with the introduction of electronic controlled drug registers (eCDR) which has led to nomination for a HSJ award.
