Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Head of Integrated Management System (IMS) Compliance to lead our IMS team across our UK sites. About the role: Reporting directly in to the Quality Compliance Director, you will have a dedicated focus on our compliance requirements with IMS approvals (AQAP, PPAP, FMEA etc.) You'll ensure that the IMS is effectively implemented and maintained throughout the business by; Creating, establishing and maintaining the UK IMS policy and objectives Ensuring that the IMS conforms to the requirements of International Standards and Regulations by creating annual audit schedules, ensuring non-conformance trends are identified and communicated to the business Ensuring the integrity of the IMS is maintained when changes are being planned and processes are adhered to Leadership of the IMS team by conducting performance reviews, 1:2:1s, creating and managing development plans Leading and hosting regulatory and standard audits across the business Provide training and coaching for IMS Compliance processes, ensuring the importance of the IMS objectives is effectively communicated throughout the business About you: You'll have strong background in Quality Compliance with exposure to the relevant IMS approvals listed above. You'll be able to effectively lead and motivate the importance of the IMS function throughout the business. You'll be a natural leader with previous experience in managing compliance teams. It's essential that you have experience working with AS9100 standards and ideally you will have worked in an Aerospace environment previously. You'll also need to be comfortable with regular travel (up to 60%), some travel will be international as required. This is an onsite role, so you must be in commutable distance to our Staverton and Bishops Cleeve office.
