Job Purpose Based at our head office in Glasgow, this is a key position, supporting the Executive Team & business sponsors, to ensure the successful IT capability of our existing systems and lead the development of new technology, as the business grows. Managing the relationship between business sponsors, both internal and external, and IT suppliers, you will have exposure to a fast-paced collaborative project environment with work-packages differing in size and timescale so the ability to juggle projects simultaneously and complete these to strict deadlines is essential. You will also ensure adequate performance of IT Service Suppliers to meet the operational priorities of your strategic business unit. Key Accountabilities Formulate and deliver the Business IT Change Plan including plans for future business growth Maintenance of both FM and capital systems including identification of synergies, different ways of working and risks & opportunities Act as business contact for configuration & onboarding of new clients within current CAFM system including escalation route, business support & change control analysis, operational readiness plans & end to end user testing protocols Work with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and assess wider business opportunities, supporting their execution through the planning, development and delivery of effective IT solutions Work with Group IT Infrastructure & external Service providers to provide the necessary IT infrastructure services (including desktop applications), networks, IT security and telecommunications Collaborative working with internal business reporting teams to ensure consistency of approach and data quality Documentation and maintenance of key business IT processes including data warehouses & azure platforms, application storage, configuration routines and product areas, both internal and external. Management of dedicated ‘IT mailbox’, including liaison with group IT to ensure urgency and impact of IT issues are appropriately recognised and managed to agreed service levels Formal engagement with external product vendors including management of technical releases & updates, administration, scoping and requirements planning Act as point of contact for information security, guiding business unit alignment to group security standards Regular visits to regional offices including liaison with group IT infrastructure teams Management and development of dedicated IT team Formal monthly tracking of business IT plan including distribution of report to Senior Leadership Team Act as a point of contact for BC/DR planning and test executions, liaising with IT suppliers for specific system IT DR plans Act as IT liaison between clients, 3rd parties and Group IT Liaison with IT suppliers to provide SLA reporting, analysis and resolution of ‘business as usual’ IT services, e.g. service ticket resolution, systems availability Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ESSENTIAL Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in IT or FM/Engineering project management related subject Formal project management qualification (e.g. PMI, PMP, APM, PRINCE2, MSP) Proven skills in project management, with experience of delivering end-to-end solutions Line Management responsibility Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools 3rd party vendor management, including procurement Excellent interpersonal skills DESIRABLE Full end to end delivery of application systems, from requirement gathering and obtaining estimates to running workshops, UAT and implementation Practitioner certification in Business Analysis from recognised body e.g. BCS Previous working knowledge of a multi-client contracted environment covering FM & Capital services Package Details Competitive Healthcare benefits Pension benefits Contact Details
