We work in a professional way towards our shared goals, knowing the work we do makes a genuine, lasting difference on the environment. As a Scientist for Chemistry, you will support the work of the function to ensure SEPA understands and manages chemical risks in Scotland. Your role will include:
* Undertaking field investigations
* Processing and reporting of data
* Environmental Event Response
This is a highly important role within our Data, Evidence and Innovation portfolio. The post has been created to allow our Scientist to deliver environmental monitoring and gather environmental data in Scotland which means you’ll need:
* The ability to lead a range of projects and site investigations, providing expertise and advice
* Experience in assessing, interpreting and reporting environmental data
* A good understanding of Health and Safety requirements of field work.
