Job Description
Our client is a privately owned MEP building services consultancy established in 1993 and based in Hertfordshire. They have experienced steady growth by delivering first-class projects and now employ a team of 30 multidisciplinary Building Services and Sustainability Engineers. They are seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on some of the UK’s largest high-end residential and education projects.
Building Services Experience Required:
* Low Voltage (LV) Distribution
* General and Emergency Lighting
* General LV Power
* Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Alarms
* Fire Detection and Alarm
* Lightning and Surge Protection Systems
The Role Will Involve:
* Conducting survey work and site inspections
* Performing design calculations using manual methods and software-based modelling
* Preparing drawings
* Writing technical specifications and reports
* Problem-solving
* Supporting senior management with client relationships
* Taking responsibility for personal and professional development
Candidate Requirements:
* 3-6 years of building services consultancy experience
* Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards)
