Your responsibilities will include:
* Welcome all guests
at any time in a friendly and courteous manner, addressing them by name
* Escort guests to their room and explain the facilities of the property
and room.
* Handle all
payments upon check-out (cash, debit or credit card) and resolve any late
and disputed charges.
* Have a full understanding
of all room types withing the Hotel and facilities available.
* Be aware of daily
functions, events, VIPs and group arrivals and communicate to all staff
via Beekeeper.
* Inform the
Reception Manager of all complaints, and update guest profile notes as
appropriate.
* Anticipates
guest’s needs and provide them with a personalised, crafted experience.
* Answer the
telephone in a polite and professional manner, adhering to The Stafford’s
standards.
* Collaborate
effectively with other departments to fulfill any guest requests.
Qualities we are looking for:
* Previous working experience in a similar
role in a luxury hotel.
* Knowledge of Opera preferred.
* Highly organised, multitasking individual with a positive attitude
& a team player
* Ability to manage varying needs and prioritising to ensure the best
business results
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and phone manner
* An exceptional attention to detail
