Board Members
North Yorkshire | £5,778 per annum
Broadacres is a thriving housing association rooted in the stunning landscapes of North Yorkshire. With two national parks, a picturesque coastline, and bustling market towns, North Yorkshire is as challenging as it is beautiful.
For over 30 years, Broadacres has tackled the unique housing needs of this region, owning and managing almost 7,000 affordable homes while leading the way in rural development, energy efficiency, and customer experience.
We have an ambitious development programme aiming to deliver 1,000 new homes in the next five years and a programme to ensure all our homes are SAP C or better by.
Our Board is deeply committed to shaping a bold vision for the future, bringing passion and strategic insight to ensure we continue making a meaningful impact in our rural communities. As part of our succession planning, we are seeking to appoint new board members who can bring expertise in social housing development and investment in existing homes, with a focus on energy efficiency, and who understand the unique challenges involved in developing and managing rural areas. We are also interested in appointing a board member who can offer expertise in assurance and risk management or data intelligence and governance in its broadest sense.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Board comprising experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds. Ideal candidates will bring a deep understanding of the current operating environment, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to shared values and best practices.
At the heart of this organisation’s decision-making is a steadfast dedication to its customers, ensuring diversity of thought and inclusivity at every level.
