We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team to take an important role in the delivery of the Improving the Cancer Journey (ICJ) Programme. This role requires a Project Manager that is dynamic and who can demonstrate an understanding of how support for people living with cancer in Powys can be enhanced.
The post will provide a key role within the ICJ Programme, which is a joint initiative between Macmillan, Powys Teaching Health Board, and Powys County Council. The ICJ model centres around providing personalised holistic support for people living with cancer.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be the Project Manager for the project and will work autonomously, referring to the Macmillan Programme Lead when required. Will have overall responsibility for the integrity and coherence of projects within the programme to which they are assigned.
There will be three main elements of this role: project management, gathering information/data as the evidence base for the Improving Cancer Journey programme, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsible for supporting the Macmillan Programme Lead to deliver the objectives of the programme, working with a range of internal and external stakeholders across Powys.
Maintain all related project documents in line with the Programme Management Office (PMO) and organisational standards.
