Housing Options Advisor Location: Solihull Contract: Temp Hours: Full-time Rate: £21.50 per hour (LTD) Role Overview: We are looking for a Housing Options Advisor to join a dynamic team and provide customer-focused advice and support to individuals facing housing difficulties. This role involves delivering high-quality housing advice, preventing homelessness, and supporting service users to sustain their accommodation. Key Responsibilities: Providing advice on tenancy rights, housing applications, welfare benefits, and debt management Conducting interviews and home visits to assess housing needs Supporting customers in securing or maintaining their accommodation Liaising with landlords and negotiating tenancy arrangements Assisting with temporary accommodation placements and administration Managing housing applications and verifying customer information Ensuring compliance with relevant housing legislation and safeguarding responsibilities Requirements: Experience in a customer-facing housing role Knowledge of homelessness prevention, housing law, and welfare benefits Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload IT proficiency and record-keeping accuracy If you are interested in this position and meet the above criteria, please send your CV for consideration.
