Senior Manager, Loyalty Finance
Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications, Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global Social Impact and Sustainability.
The Traveler Engagement & Loyalty (TEaL) team is a core part of EG Traveler Marketing organization. The TEaL team builds relationships and engagement with travelers through ownership of the One Key Loyalty program, credit card, and direct-to-traveler communications, which results in active member growth, app downloads through owned channels, and increased revenue per traveler.
The Senior Manager, Loyalty Finance is a finance leader who will manage a team of 2-4 and work with the TEaL organization as a thought and business partner, serving to drive business performance, strategy, cost optimization and to improve the traveler experience.
In this role, you will:
1. Partner with TEaL team to understand customer economics, re-define a holistic incentives process, develop performance indicators, and apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision making
2. Provide key inputs into near and long-term financial forecasts and understand the impact on forecast of any business decisions
3. You will use sophisticated financial modelling and analytics to identify strategic opportunities to support your business partners' new initiatives, and measure progress on critical goals
4. Use expertise in financial analysis to present and communicate financial results to senior executives and influence them in developing new strategies to enhance the organization’s financial performance
5. Partner with actuarial firm to understand trends impacting the business
Experience and qualifications:
1. Exhibit strong functional leadership and finance knowledge; able to leverage this strength to influence business team strategies and decisions
2. Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills. Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling
3. Comfortable creating positive relationships across a number of teams and supporting C-suite level leaders
4. A storyteller: able to build and communicate clearly a vision and strategy
5. Manage and mentor a high performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment with a Go Get What’s Next attitude. Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback and conduct periodic performance evaluations
6. Work with team to develop individual performance plans addressing employee needs and meeting team goals
7. Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility and accountability, in a constantly fast-evolving environment
8. Passion for Results: Drive high standards for individual, team, and organizational accomplishment; tenaciously work towards challenging goals
9. Ability to see the big picture, possessing strong analytical / technical skills
10. Experience in loyalty or CRM finance a plus
