I am working with a great organisation based in Preston who does really put their colleagues first. Due to an internal re-structure, they are now seeking a talented and ambitious HR Manager to join them and take the lead with all aspects of job satisfaction for all employees, which is a prime objective of the Group.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to play a pivotal role in driving forward the H.R. function as part of our professional and forward-thinking Senior Management Team during their continued expansion program.
Responsibilities and duties include:
1. Responsible for managing all H.R. matters for 200 employees
2. Develop HR strategies
3. Champion and lead employee engagement
4. Advise and guide Senior Management & Line Managers
5. Absence control
6. Investigations, disciplinaries & appeals
7. Issuing new employee starter packs and contracts
8. Responsible for one-off H.R. projects, including TUPE
9. Coordinate annual appraisals
10. Maintain and develop Investors in People
11. Recruitment & retention
Requirements:
1. Proven track record as H.R. Generalist
2. Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law
3. Direct supervision of 4 staff
Based at their Preston Head Office, but occasional travel will be required.
