Reporting to the Business Implementation and Improvement Manager, you will be required to monitor sales channel performance and identify areas for development, scoping and identifying new sales channel opportunities to support the growth of Customer Business customer portfolio and supporting the management of daily operational processing of sales and registrations activity.
Building cross-functional relationships to facilitate channel development and successful delivery of customer switches, working closely with stakeholders across the Customer Business areas, you will act as a principal point of contact for sales and switching activity in relation to sales channel development.
What you’ll be doing
1. Supporting the management of System and Operations team deliverables for the management of processes from sale to gain for SME & Domestic customers through system enhancements, system incident management and resolution, analysis and correction of stuck accounts, regulatory and assurance updates, GDPR, ISO quality & cyber controls as well as operational support for onboarding and system access for sales channel representatives.
2. Deliver success through the effective management of key business drivers i.e. KPI’s, cost, retained/gained volumes, customer numbers and budgets within the designated areas.
3. Support delivery of sales targets and objectives, in line with the sales plan for each channel, through engagement with the Operational Sales Channel Representatives ensuring the appropriate monthly, quarterly and annual checks are in place to deliver targets.
4. Provide support and direction to ScottishPower business stakeholders, training and account management teams by being the key point of contact for ongoing monitoring of performance, including the sales, quality and compliance of all business partnerships.
5. Through pro-active analysis of all operational areas, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory commitments, effectively managing customer contracts in line with ScottishPower guidelines. Ensure that all areas of Sales are compliant with all regulatory legislation (Legal, Ofgem).
6. Lead all staff through issues created within a continuously changing environment, encouraging others to change through leading by example.

8. Well-developed networking skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation.
9. Proven ability to execute day to day operating plans in pursuance of business improvement.
10. Ability to stay calm under pressure, with solid resilience and ability to take and make risk balanced decisions.
11. Strong abilities in inception, management, maintenance and development of supply chain service level agreements and arrangements.
12. Proven delivery of success through the effective management of key business drivers, i.e. KPI’s, cost, retained/gained volumes, customer numbers and budgets within the designated areas.
Minimum Criteria
1. Highly numerate and analytical.
2. Knowledge and working experience of SAP CRM & SAP ISU and sales front end applications.
3. Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels within organisations.
4. Sound understanding of the commercial environment and ability to demonstrate strong business improvement management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to obtain buy in from all levels of the organisation to a long-term vision of the business.
6. Ability to manage a range of complex relationships both internally and externally, often against a backdrop of conflicting aims and priorities.
7. Ability to exercise strong business change leadership and direction to deliver challenging business improvement and efficiency performance targets.
8. Ability to coach, train and mentor staff at all levels.
