Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated, and skilled Caretaker to help maintain multiple sites across the Midlands. This role will involve a wide range of duties, including general cleaning, maintenance tasks, and minor repairs.
Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and excellent attention to detail. Experience in plumbing or electrical work would be advantageous, and having your own van and tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
1. Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to maintain cleanliness of all areas ensuring they are kept in excellent condition.
2. Perform routine inspections of facilities, identifying and addressing any maintenance needs promptly.
3. Carry out maintenance tasks such as painting, replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, and upkeep of communal areas.
4. Maintain outdoor spaces (as required), such as clearing pathways or gardening.
5. Perform various onsite tests, i.e., fire alarm testing (Training given where required).
6. Address any minor plumbing or electrical issues (if qualified), such as fixing leaks or faulty wiring.
7. Support with any additional ad-hoc maintenance tasks as needed.
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
9. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
10. Provide exceptional customer service to all they meet, updating and addressing needs and concerns effectively.
11. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report on the status of repairs and improvements.
12. Flexibility to travel across multiple sites in the Midlands region.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a caretaker, maintenance person, or in a similar role.
2. Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems; any formal qualification would be a bonus.
3. A proactive attitude towards maintaining a safe and functional environment for all users.
4. Owning a van and relevant tools is highly preferred.

Pay: £26,500.00-£28,500.00 per year
