Are you an experienced Internal Sales Manager able to lead and motivate a team of 4 Sales Executives? Do you have a good track record of selling products? Do you know Retail, Wholesale and/or Ecommerce Clients? Do you want to be part of a well-established, fast growing wholesale and retail company? If the answers are yes then YOU are the person we are looking for. My client is an exciting wholesale and retail company in a fast growing FMCG sector. They have a new Group Sales Director who is looking for someone to lead this team and be part of his key management team. You will be a superb communicator who can take full responsibility for leading, motivating and managing the internal sales team of 4.You will develope brand/product awareness, driving, and delivering sales by engaging with potential new clients and driving the sales team through clear KPIs in line with sales targets. There are 4 on the team now but expect your team to grow throughout 2025 DAY TO DAY YOUR ROLE WILL BE Driving sales through managing, coaching, motivating, and developing the internal sales team, creating and monitoring budgets and performance targets. Develop, monitor, and drive a robust internal sales function, with a focus on both customer and employee engagement. Ensure all team members deliver optimum levels of customer service to customers at all times. Scope, manage and monitor KPIs and create meaningful MI. Generate new and repeat business by truly understanding the customer requirements and spending habits. Accurately forecast future sales and create sales plans. Identify and make recommendations to improve any lapses in customer spending. Work closely with the Ecommerce and Marketing teams to drive promotions and be alive to new product developments. Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders within operations, to support a seamless end to end customer journey. Promote and ensure the good reputation of the company and its individual divisions. YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE: Superb communication skills with the ability to modify your style where needed. Proven experience in managing, coaching and developing an internal sales team. Extensive sales experience within FMCG, Retail or similar industries Being sales driven and highly motivated by results. Extremely well organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively. Able to demonstrate excellent time management skills, and the ability to multitask. Strong negotiation skills. Clear understanding of the full sales life cycle and customer journey. What will you get in return?
