This role forms part of our George.com team. Our George website conducts £500m worth of transactions per year, and growing. Our customers come to us for everything from affordable fashion for themselves to adaptive school wear for their children, to trendy home décor for their homes.
This is a 12 month Maternity cover.
What does the role involve?
* Manage the core product from ideation, discovery, design and development, to release including:
o New feature development
o Prioritise opportunities in line with our product strategy
o Use data to ensure we work on what brings most value to our customers and to Asda
o Find and assess problems to solve, rather than only document stakeholder requirements
o Collaborate with UX designers to create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that meet user needs and business requirements
o Provide direction for multi-disciplined squads on scope and detailed requirements
o Work with engineering teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features and enhancements
o Build stakeholder partnerships to align goals, objectives, and vision
o Ensure the continuous improvement of the user experience through user research
o Always champion the voice of the customer
o Use data, market and technology trends, and user insights to tell compelling stories
o Manage and prioritise the team’s feature backlog to ensure focus on key objectives
o Ensure continuous improvement of our processes by partnering with your product colleagues

* Hold a relevant qualification in product management
Product Management experience working on a front end eCommerce website would be preferable.
