Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will have a passion for art and a commitment to inspiring young minds. As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging art lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
2. Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
4. Organize and participate in extracurricular art activities, including exhibitions and workshops.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the art curriculum.
6. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom, promoting positive behavior and respect for materials and resources.
Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
8. A degree in Art, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
9. Experience teaching art at the secondary school level is preferred.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
11. A passion for art and a commitment to fostering a love for the subject in students.
12. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
