The role
Here at the Great Run Company, the Project Administrator role offers you the opportunity to work within the UK’s biggest mass participation sports business. Your role will encompass the following key areas:
Project Coordination
* Coordinate with project teams on task allocation for events and other projects, using our project management software, Zoho.
* Track project milestones, monitor timelines, and provide support in keeping projects on schedule.
* Gather and distribute feedback post-event to contribute to project reviews and process improvements.
Administrative Support
* Assist in preparing and organising project documentation, reports, schedules, and meeting agendas.
* Manage correspondence, including email communications, and ensure timely updates to relevant team members.
* Maintain project files, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, complete, and well-organised.
Reporting and Communication
* Attend project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points to ensure completion.
* Lead on company-wide time-booking, ensuring all members of the team are logging time against projects, and reporting on progress vs project plan.
* Prepare and circulate concise project summaries and updates.
* Facilitate team communications, supporting effective coordination and collaboration.
General Support
* Act as a key contact for project-related enquiries and liaise with other departments as necessary.
* Provide on-the-ground assistance at select events as needed.

Additional Information
Occasional travel nationally to attend meetings and our events across the UK which would include some weekend work. Any days worked on a weekend you receive back as compensatory rest days.
We are looking for:
A person who is an excellent team player who shares our values, has strong analytical and interpersonal skills. You will be confident with strong oral and written communication skills, have some experience of presenting reports and proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).
If you have an excellent attention to detail, exemplary organisation, an interest in sports and you are self-motivated to continuously improve, then Great Run is the place for you.
